In recent years, Taiwan’s sports industry has steadily developed, with more individuals pursuing professional sports training. According to the Sports Administration, about 7,000 students graduate from sports-related programs each year. However, their career options after graduation or retirement remain relatively limited. MACHVISION, a company long dedicated to promoting sports, actively recruits sport talents from universities and retirements, offering them a wide range of job opportunities. These individuals demonstrated excellent learning abilities and perseverance. Their resilience, adaptability, stress tolerance, and teamwork skills have allowed them to thrive in all departments.

After joining MACHVISION, these sport talents not only perform excellently in their roles but also leverage their sports expertise to form clubs and initiate events, fostering a culture of fitness among colleagues. This not only helps alleviate the company’s labor shortage but also energizes the office atmosphere, creating a healthy and dynamic workplace environment while promoting inter-company sports exchanges.

Since 2016, MACHVISION has hosted the “MACHVISION Cup Badminton Tournament”, inviting major corporates, including listed companies, to participate. The event advocates for the recruitment of sport talents and the development of their secondary skills, using the tournament as a starting point to rally the business community to pay more attention to the career development and employment opportunities of these talents. In 2018, the Sports Administration under the Ministry of Education launched a subsidy program to encourage companies to hire sports instructors—an initiative that echoes MACHVISION’s vision, which we take great pride in.

Now in its ninth year, the MACHVISION Cup continues to inspire government and corporate sectors alike, promoting the employment of sports talents and addressing broader social issues. Over the years, the initiative has reached more than one million people, and nearly 50% of participating companies have received the "Sports Company Certification" from the Sports Administration, officially joining the ranks of sports-friendly enterprises.

Registration Guidelines

▶ To promote the recruitment of sports talents, all team members must be full-time employees of the same company or corporate group.

▶ Employees must have been officially employed (and covered by labor insurance) for at least 3 months prior to registration.

▶ Each team must include at least one female player. The maximum number of participants per team, including the team captain, is 8.
