MACHVISION is committed to energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and resource optimization. By adopting innovative technologies and developing high-performance, energy-saving equipment, we reduce environmental impact and move toward a net-zero future. Working with our supply chain partners, we advance sustainability together and protect our planet for the generations to come.
As a leading supplier of AOI optical inspection equipment, MACHVISION embraces its environmental responsibility and has conducted greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories since 2014. Over the past 11 years, we have continuously identified emission hotspots and enhanced accuracy in accordance with the evolving ISO 14064-1 standards.
Both Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions remain well below reporting thresholds, demonstrating effective carbon-management performance. Achieving net-zero emissions is an attainable goal for MACHVISION, and we will continue strengthening reduction measures, improving energy efficiency, and working proactively to meet our net-zero commitment ahead of schedule—reflecting our firm dedication to environmental sustainability.
Below is a summary of the latest GHG inventory results:
Scope 1 and Scope 2 direct and indirect GHG emissions are listed in the table below:
| Year | 2024 | 2023 | 2022 |
| Scope 1 Emissions (ton*CO₂e) | 21.0 | 15.3 | 24.4 |
Scope 2 indirect GHG emissions are shown in the table below
| Year | 2024 | 2023 | 2022 |
| Scope 2 Emissions (ton*CO₂e) | 539.8 | 567.1 | 702.4 |
Although MACHVISION is not included in the government’s priority list for greenhouse gas reduction based on industry type or company scale, we proactively assume environmental responsibility and have initiated Scope 1–3 GHG inventory work. In accordance with ISO 14064-1, we have voluntarily conducted Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon inventories since 2014, enabling us to identify major emission sources within our operations. In recent years, we have implemented targeted carbon-reduction initiatives and continuously optimized energy usage and management strategies to eliminate unnecessary emissions. These efforts demonstrate our commitment to environmental sustainability, improve energy efficiency, and ensure emissions remain well-controlled, laying a solid foundation for long-term sustainable development.
Scope 3 inventory work began in the second quarter of 2023. Given its broad scope and the complexity of data collection, we engaged professional consultants to support the assessment of Categories 3 to 6. MACHVISION remains dedicated to understanding and managing its carbon footprint, reducing environmental impact, and advancing toward our future net-zero goal with determination and responsibility.
GHG Emission Intensity is shown in the table below
| Year | 2024 | 2023 | 2022 |
