(Reported by Li, Chin-Wei, Taipei, January 19) MACHVISION Cup Badminton Match is now open for registration. The purpose of MACHVISION Cup Badminton Match is to promote sports and charity.

The 2nd MACHVISION Cup Badminton Match will be held at Taipei Gymnasium on April 15, 2017. The registration starts today and ends on February 28, 2017.

As an automatic optical inspection equipment manufacturer, MACHVISION has many sports communities. After getting in touch with sports coaches and athletes, MACHVISION found that athletes often had difficulty in finding jobs. In view of this, MACHVISION started to employ outstanding athletic students as coaches in 2015 and train them to become important members in customer service.

As these students feature vitality, teamwork, and perseverance and have excellent performances at work, MACHVISION hopes to further promote the idea that sports benefit work by organizing sports events and inviting more businesses to join.

MACHVISION indicated that the purpose of organizing the event is to facilitate the employment of outstanding athletic students, the sports atmosphere, and charity.

Tsai, Cheng-Yu, the convenor of MACHVISION Cup, said that the country has cultivated a number of superb athletes, but these athletes have limited job opportunities. Tsai pointed out that athletes are able to have outstanding performances at work after being trained appropriately by businesses.

Tsai said that the purpose of MACHVISION Cup is to encourage businesses to do exercise and to promote sports communities.

Tsai also mentioned that businesses are welcomed to register the event by donating NT$1,000 or more to Eden Social Welfare Foundation.
